The kind of track you think you’re having an epiphany to at 4am but while your revelations will surely be forgotten by the next morning, “Hope” will resurface. - India Opie Meres

It's an intriguing release – at times sparse, fragmentary, at others lush and expansive, it's a pervasive whispering in your ear. - ROBIN MURRAY

Featuring four highly textural, dense cuts, Beneath breaks almost a year of silence from the UK-based producer. With obvious nods to UK producers such as Burial, the EP is also inspired by Prayer's classical music background and the work of Max Richter and Philip Glass. Fusing haunting layers of ambience, beautifully twisted vocals, and hard-edged beats, Prayer has crafted a sonic world that has a nostalgic undertone whilst simultaneously pushing things forward. Post-dubstep sits inside classical frameworks, with sprinklings of jungle and grime, for a sprawling amalgamation of electronics. - Luke Cheadle

Reminiscent of early Henrik Schwarz, Prayers, is a beautiful continuation of his endeavours to bridge the gap between the electronic and the classical worlds of music. - I.D Magazine I.D Magazine

It's an intense meeting of these two sound worlds, darker than I’ve previously covered. - Aimee Cliff Fader
